Meet Your Astrologer

I’m Maeg and I run Third Sister. Astrology is one of the ways I court the firmament everywhere, the sparkling fishnet of timespace that holds us, this body of the world. While I do this work alone, I prefer to do it in companionship, however long or brief.

The sky speaks the secrets of our true desires, patterns, promises, and relationships. “Who am I? What should I be doing with this life I have? Why do I keep ending up in the same place?” and other common questions need intimate and cosmic ecologies, local and galactic relatedness — far more than they need simple answers that feel like the results of a personality test.

Astrology reveals you to yourself. One of its revelations about you is how woven into everyone — human, flora, fauna, landscape, element, star, and planet — you are. Astrology is cosmic communion. It’s awe-dizzying. It’s such a relief.

I hope after a reading you feel more clarity about yourself and more complicated, more multiple, more mythic-woven, more deliciously strange, and more connected.

  • All astrology offerings are confidential and available over the video platform Zoom. If video-chat is not an option for you for whatever reason, email me (maeg@third-sister.com) and we’ll work something else out.

  • Depending on my schedule, I sometimes offer synastry readings upon request from return clients. I’ve read for parents and children, romantic partners, and (my favorite) friends. However, consent is of utmost importance to me. I will never read someone’s chart unless they are present for the session.

    It’s worth noting, however, that If you’d like to explore a relationship in your life that relationship shows up in your birth chart. We can discuss it without ever knowing the other person’s (or people’s) charts.

  • Yes, if you give more than 48 hours notice of your cancellation. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, the session is ineligible for a refund. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will also be considered a “no-show” and will be charged for the full fee of the session.

  • There is no penalty for rescheduling if you do so with more than 24 hours notice. If you reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, you’ll be considered a “no-show” and will be charged for the full fee of the session.

    You will receive a link to cancel or reschedule on your session confirmation email.

  • I use the whole sign house system and the tropical zodiac.

  • I work with traditional planetary rulership, the five classical aspects, the dignity scheme, the outer planets (but not as rulers), fixed stars, a few asteroids. In my Cycles Reading, I use annual profections in combination with solar return charts, secondary progressions, and transits.
