Rescheduling & Canceling

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours ahead of your appointment time. Reschedule or cancel through Acuity. To do so, check your confirmation email. There’s a button that says, “Change/Cancel Appointment.” Click that and follow the instructions. If you do not see a time that suits your schedule, email me. However, if you try to email me to cancel or reschedule your appointment and it goes to spam, I am not responsible. It’s best if you use Acuity for this reason.

Within 48 hours of your appointment time, any change amounts to a cancellation and you will be charged the full fee. If you wanted to reschedule, you can do so at half the price of a normal consultation if this is the first time you’ve had to make an appointment change at the last minute.

If you are late or do not attend your session

If you are going to be late for your session, please let me know by replying to your booking email from Acuity as soon as possible.

If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will also be considered a “no-show” and will be charged for the full fee of the session. Similar to a cancellation or reschedule within 48 hours, I will offer you a half-price consultation if you want to reschedule if this is the first time we’ve run into a last-minute schedule change.

What to do if it appears that I’m late

If you join the Zoom meeting and it shows “waiting for the host to start this meeting” for more than 2 minutes after our scheduled time, please let me know via email right away (it might be a tech issue). Unless I reach out beforehand, the Zoom meeting will always be open right at the scheduled time.

  • All astrology offerings are confidential and available over the video platform Zoom. If video-chat is not an option for you for whatever reason, email me (maeg@third-sister.com) and we’ll work something else out.

  • Depending on my schedule, I sometimes offer synastry readings upon request from return clients. I’ve read for parents and children, romantic partners, and (my favorite) friends. However, consent is of utmost importance to me. I will never read someone’s chart unless they are present for the session.

    It’s worth noting, however, that If you’d like to explore a relationship in your life that relationship shows up in your birth chart. We can discuss it without ever knowing the other person’s (or people’s) charts.

  • Yes! I have a few slots available each booking for sliding scale. Email me (maeg@third-sister.com) if you’d like to talk more about this pricing. When you email, please know you will be granted sliding scale pricing just by asking. You don’t need to prove anything or explain your situation.

    If you have disposable income, please pay the full amount so that I can offer these services to clients for whom the price of care like this is too great a hardship.

  • You can donate to the Third Sister sliding scale fund by using Acuity’s “add-on” option when you book. If you’d like to donate without booking, you can send money to paypal.me/maegthirdsister with “sliding scale fund” in the note.

  • I use the whole sign house system and the tropical zodiac.

  • I work with traditional planetary rulership, the five classical aspects, the dignity scheme, the outer planets (but not as rulers), fixed stars, a few asteroids. In my Cycles Reading, I use annual profections in combination with solar return charts, secondary progressions, and transits.

If any of these conditions are confusing, please email me ahead of booking. By booking, you agree to these conditions. There are no refunds for completed labor, so if you attend a session you are required to pay the full fee.
